🇺🇦 e-phan and Diia Begin a New Era of Digitalization for Ukrainian DanceSport

This is the first step in the history of DanceSport toward full digital identification of athletes through government services. In fact, it marks the beginning of a new era in which an athlete’s identity can be verified not only by a federation or a club, but also by the state.

Ukrainian e-phan users can now verify their identity through Diia and Diia.Signature.
The system allows users to confirm their identity using government-issued digital documents, obtain up-to-date personal data, and link it to their athlete profile in e-phan.

The key identifier is the UNZR — the Unique Record Number in Ukraine’s Unified State Demographic Register. It remains unchanged even when personal data or identity documents change, providing a reliable foundation for preserving an athlete’s sporting history.

Digital document sharing through Diia and data update mechanisms are also already available.

🏆 From Identification to a Unified Sports System

The true value of this integration goes far beyond convenient login.

It lays the foundation for a unified digital DanceSport system in which an athlete, their results, rankings, statuses, documents, and sporting history can be securely linked to a real person.

This opens the way to more transparent record-keeping, greater automation of sporting processes, and the gradual digitalization and formalization of the sport.

And this is only the beginning.

e-phan remains an international platform, while the integration with Diia represents the first implementation of a new approach to digital identification for DanceSport participants.
