Entry fees online: three questions every organiser asks
Anyone who has ever run a competition knows the question by heart: “And how do we pay you?” Now it has an answer inside e-phan. Here are the three questions we hear most often — and one bonus.
Where does the money go?
Straight to the organiser’s account. The account is attached to the competition, and a participant’s payment goes there — no middle-man cards, no summary spreadsheets.
How is the fee counted?
There are two ways, and the organiser picks. A flat sum per dancer: a couple pays for two, and someone who has already paid can enter again for free. Or a sum per category: then every entry is counted.
What if someone doesn’t finish paying?
No harm done. An unpaid entry stays a “basket”: it doesn’t reach the start lists and doesn’t take a place. The payment can be completed later from “Finances” — nothing gets lost.
Bonus: what about spectators?
They get tickets. The organiser sets a price and a limit, and every ticket receives its own code, something like K7M2-9QXA. Bought tickets live in the cabinet under “Tickets” — the code can be shown at the door straight from a phone.
